About Department

The Department of Computer Science and Applications was established in the year 2019 offering undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Applications. The department promotes student-centered teaching approach through seminars, presentations, project work, assignments and ICT supported teaching, and it is one of the youngest departments in this College

The Department comprises of 2 Computer Laboratories with 60systems, state of the art computing facilities with sufficient power supply backup. The Department of Computer Science and Applications takes care of Software & Hardware requirements of the entire college Students of CS are motivated to be innovative in their thinking while being strong in the Computer Science Core Knowledge They are trained in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySql .

Department of Computer Science & Applications is functioning together with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Commerce and Economics. There is a robust mechanism of mentor- Mentee system which has been a very helpful platform to address the complicated issues of the students and the parents.

Message of the HOD

Being a youngest department of the college we started our journey in 2019 and since then have been enriching young minds to meet the challenges of the industry of Information Technology. The department promotes an approach of student-centered teaching, supported by ICT tools. With a vision to provide a stimulating learning environment with technological orientation across the whole curriculum, which maximizes individual potential and ensures students of varying abilities to be well equipped to meet the challenges of Education, Work and Life. The central focus of our mission is to generate highly skilled and competent IT professionals by providing quality education and training students to effectively apply Education to make their mark in the world.
Standards set by the world today demands competition. It requires us to equip ourselves for the challenges it offers. I congratulate and thank all the staff and students who have made for their untiring efforts in the inception of this Department. I am sure the department will scale even greater heights in the years to come. I extend my best wishes and greetings.
