Establishment & Composition Of IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Thakur Sen. Negi Govt. College Reckong Peo was established on 10/6/2012. The institution was accredited with ‘B’ Grade (CGPA 2.31) by the NAAC Bangluru on May 25, 2016 (valid up to May 24, 2021). Mr. Devender Singh was Co-ordinatior IQAC and Dr. Chaman Mahajan was the Chairman (Principal) of NAAC Steering Committee of the college. The AQAR’s for the academic session 2016-17 to 2020-21 were prepared and submitted up to 3/9/2021 for the accreditation of 2nd Cycle under the able guidance of Dr. Vidya Bandhu Negi, Chairman Steering Committee, Ms. Balam Negi was Co-ordinator IQAC, Dr. Gian Chand, Dr. Brij Mohan Prajapati, Mr. Yash Pal Sharma, Mr. Sachin Bardwaj were members, Mr. Bhagat Singh Negi was technical expert and President Gram Panchayat Khawangi as community representatives. The SSR (Self – Study Report), IIQA (Institutional Internal Quality Assurance) and DVV (Data Validation Verification) were being prepared. In the meantime the UGC and NAAC authorities came up with new notification for autonomous and affiliated institutions of higher education in the academic session 2023-2024, wherein an option was given to them regarding applying for accreditation under newly introduced Binary Accreditation System. Therefore the institution is now preparing AQAR’s and shall submit in NAAC web portal.
