Vision & Mission

Vision of Department :

To guide and transform young and energetic minds into comprehensive , capable and competent Public Policy makers, Public Administrators and Public Policy Analysts with social and managerial skill, who would in turn uphold humane and ethical values instrumental towards human rights and assurance of social justice.


Mission of Department :

  • To inculcate in students the rightful perspective with critical thinking about public institutions – government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and social enterprises.
  • To apply effective and innovative application of the Bloom’s Taxonomy Modal of teaching learning and evaluation.
  • To develop creative and collaborative solutions to public policy challenges with adequate knowledge of the policies and procedures and other necessary amendments for the same.
  • To enrich the students and all the concerned to the structure, formation and constitutional provisions from the authentic sources.
  • To familiarize the students about the importance of Graduate Attributes in shaping the personality and professional skills in an individual.
  • To design the Pos, COs, PSOs of the curriculum as per the classification of the Bloom’s Taxonomy to provide with the students an OBE with measurable learning outcomes and evaluations.

STRENGTH

  • Vision of the department is to provide knowledge of the system of Administration and people participation in the administration. Public administration as a subject is very practical and relevant.
  • Mission of the department is to provide all students with healthy learning environment. The department has focus on over all grooming of the students by giving assignment, group discussion, seminar, knowledge on human values, professionalism and social responsibility. The celebration of Teacher’s day is also the important activity of the department. Students get the opportunity to participate in competitive exams and take up teaching in college cadre

  • Lack of Departmental Room
  • Lack of adequate internet facilities

  • The strength of students enrolled in this course presents itself as a challenge for a single professor working in concerned department.

Objectives:-

  • To motivate students for research projects.
  • To develop communication skills in the students.
  • To acquaint students with recent trends and developments in Public Administration.
  • Help to equip and train under Graduate students to accept the challenges of Administrative system.
  • Help to develop independent logical thinking and facilitate personality development.
  • Help to equip the students to seek suitable careers in Administration.
