Vision of Department :
Providing with an apt platform to learn the domain knowledge and exposing the students to understand how politics is rooted in human nature. To nourish and prepare students for opportunities and challenges of competitive world so they can actively participate in intricate political system at local, national and international level and can contribute towards nation building with accumulated knowledge and wisdom with experiential learning.
Mission of Department :
- To inculcate the attitude of discipline reverence towards the subject and to the institution.
- To teach Indian democratic values.
- To cultivate knowledge about Indian & Western Political Thinker.
- To give information related to Indian Administration system & International Politics.
- Making significant role in studying the existing political system particular from rural and tribal areas.
- To encourage the participative and experiential learning in terms of local governance and grass root level political structure
- To familiarize the students regarding the Constitution and the working of the parliament.
- To introduce the graduate attributes to the students and their parents to give them the basic idea of the framework of the programme and course.
- To guide the students for the attainment of POs, COs, and PSOs as per the structure of Bloom’s Taxonomy levels to accomplish the outcomes.
